Asker has a green area made up of forests and agricultural lands, which represent 66% of the total area. For this reason, our intervention will adapt to Asker’s needs, and not vice versa. Our goal is to keep the equilibrium between the anthropised and natural areas by adapting our project to the topography by using indigenous vegetation, respecting the characteristics of each season and designing dynamic and flexible constructions and furniture (look-outs, marshlands, parasols, etc.). All this must be closely linked and related with nature. Our main idea or strategy could therefore be summarised as follows: “Respect, discover and celebrate nature”
The area that will be intervened is closely related to the territory through the presence of a large network of urban buses and bicycle lanes. The general structure of the project is made up of a series of “green arms” which will provide new activities and multiple use facilities, covering all urban areas and allowing a permanent dialogue between green and urban areas.
