Garden of the Five Senses
The new Jardí dels Inocents is a sensory stimulation space where we can experience with our five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. The visitors could experience different stimuli through the entire garden, perceived by one or more senses.
Even though the garden is divided into three well-differentiated zones, these are integrated by a 2m x 2m grid orientated towards the library. Above this library, we can found the “stimuli containers” made up of a series of 0.75m reinforced concrete cylinders of different heights that will create the multiple benches and will integrate the pre-existing ruins of the garden with the project. This will give the place an important appearance and will integrate all its elements.
