The soil is a living memory, on both a geological and human scale. How can we make this memory clearer or more evident? The answer is enclosed in the question, making visible what is not normally seen, raising the grass and exposing what has memory and spirit, the earth, with the skin in sight, without intermediaries. Trees are not enough, but they are necessary, they are like our walking feet, although this may seem like a paradox, the important thing is who they relate to and how they establish ties of friendship; all of this happens underground.
